WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“In 40 years as a heavy equipment mechanic, I have used just about every absorbent product on the market, Peat Sorb out performs every other product. It is very cost effective because a small amount goes a long way and can be reused. Being biodegradable, it helps with the environment and is a renewable resource.”

— Robert J. Kay, Hamilton Fire Department

Quantum Murray LP has been using Peat Sorb for the past year on several projects. We were very impressed with the product performance compared to other spill clean products. One application in particular caught my attention: We had a discharge of solvent inside a facility which posed a number of risks. One risk in particular was the odour from the solvent that was discharged. It was quote intense and required PPE. After applying Peat Sorb we noticed that it had significantly reduced the solvent odour along with absorbing the solvent liquid. I am very impressed with the performance of the Peat Sorb product."

— Paul Smith B.Sc, Quantum Murray LP

“Environmental responsibility has always been a pillar of AADCO. We are well informed on the issues and work hard to keep a clean healthy environment. Finding Peat Sorb has been one more step in the right direction. There is no better absorbent on the market for our industry.

— Don Fraser, AADCO Auto Parts

“We recently had one of our waste oil containment vessels over fill, causing a very large volume of waste oil to spill onto the shop floor. We were able to prevent the waste oil from entering the public sewer system, the use of the Peat Sorb made this possible.”

— Robert J. Kay, Hamilton Fire Department

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and our staff for your technical support over the past six months. Glycol control and reclamation is a very high priority issue. Your onsite technical assistance in finding the right product to control and pickup different types of glycol has been invaluable. Peat Sorb has proven to be easier to apply and recover than other products tested. We at the Air Canada Toronto Deicing Centre are quite satisfied with this product and will continue to use Peat Sorb in the future.”

— Donald A Moody, Air Canada

“I use this product in our service center to clean oil, fluid, and hydrocarbon spills. It is effective and works very quickly. Furthermore, it can be used several times which, helps to lower our cleaning costs. I will continue to use this product and encourage others to do so as well..”

— Joe Lawlor, Canadian Tire

I would like to thank you for introducing me to Peat Sorb Oil Absorbent. We have been using your product for 4 months and we are very satisfied with its performance. Recently we had a spill in our plant and we used both Peat Sorb and clay to clean it up. Your product worked much faster and involved less labour to use it. Also, it was easier to dispose of. In short, Peat Sorb completely outperformed the clay based absorbent. We are happy with Peat Sorb and will continue to use it in our operations.

I'm telling y'all, this stuff grabs a hold of oil and doesn't let it go. If you have to contain a spill out in the field, the cost of this stuff just might save you a big pile of money from haz mat cleanup charges.

— Willie 59, TN Service Manager

I can recommend Peat Sorb to anyone currently using another kind of absorbent. I like it for a number of reasons. Firstly, because it’s just that much safer to use than usual absorbents. That gives us peace of mind, because we are working with it all the time on spills, and no one wants to be in contact with dangerous chemicals or materials if they don’t have to be. Peat Sorb absorbs spills on contact and never leaches the absorbed hydrocarbons.

— Chad Marshall

“I can easily see how, on a much larger scale, the use of peat would be indispensable to researchers and those in industry as a safe, natural and effective clean-up tool.

— Shelly Carpenter, UW Oceanography
